IDL Lab의 Alumni인 이지향 박사가 '정서 분석 인공지능 기반 개별화학습 피드백 시스템 개발 및 효과성 검증'을 주제로 한국연구재단 인문사회 학술연구교수 사업에 선정되었습니다. 본 사업은 2025년 6월부터 2030년 5월까지 5년간 수행될 예정입니다.
이지향 박사의 연구는 정서 분석 AI를 활용해 학습자의 정서 상태를 반영한 개별화 피드백 시스템을 개발하고, 이를 실제 학습 환경에서 실증적으로 검증하는 것을 목표로 합니다. 최근 개별화 학습의 중요성이 강조되며 학습자의 성향, 수준, 인지적 특성에 맞춘 교육이 확산되고 있지만, 기존 시스템은 학습 중 발생하는 정서적 요소를 충분히 반영하지 못하는 한계가 있었습니다. 이번 연구는 이러한 한계를 극복하고, 학습과학 및 교수설계 분야에 정서 기반 맞춤형 피드백이라는 새로운 방향을 제시할 수 있을 것으로 기대됩니다.
Dr. Ji Hyang Lee, an alumna of IDL Lab, has been selected for the Humanities and Social Sciences Research Professor Program funded by the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF). Her research project, titled “Development and Effectiveness Verification of an Emotion Analysis AI-Based Personalized Learning Feedback System,” will be conducted over a five-year period from June 2025 to May 2030.
Dr. Lee's research aims to develop a personalized feedback system that leverages emotion recognition AI to support learners in real-time, and to empirically validate its effectiveness in educational settings. While the importance of personalized learning continues to grow, current systems often overlook emotional factors that arise during the learning process. This study seeks to address that gap, and is expected to offer innovative insights for the fields of learning sciences and instructional design by integrating affective feedback into personalized learning environments.
